perfect base for exploring parks and local attractions
I enjoyed my stay as it was easy to get in and out, and i loved being just a short drive away from the beautiful george washington and jefferson national forest with fine walking paths and views along with being only a little above 1 km from the essential attractions like the salem museum and the eleanor d. Wilson museum. The staff were friendly, especially the bathroom, could definitely be improved for a better overall experience.

Couple looking for cheap rest
The only reason I chose this place was the pet-friendly option and cheap rate, but let me tell you it was an experience. The fridge and microwave in the room were nice touches for a late-night snack after a long drive, although the overall vibe seemed like a rundown flop-house.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but given my needs, it was tolerable.

Thanks very much all for a comfortable stay for the price. Staff were affable and super friendly, rooms were cheap and equipped with comfortable bed, microwave and handicap facilities.

Walking into the room was a bit disconcerting. A noticeable gap around the wall A/C unit gave me a direct sight into the parking lot. The sheets were clean, but the bedspread had a huge stain, made settling in uncomfortable. I found a bug crawling around-just a harmless beetle, but it's the little things that matter. Flimsy pillows added to my discomfort, with only two on a double bed making sleep less than ideal. The vibe didn't match the price tag. I'd say it's more suited for a $40 room rather than hitting the $79 mark.

A cash deposit requirement feels outdated!!! Rooms could benefit from improved cleanliness standards!!! Some furnishings, like the desk chair, need replacing!!! The appearance of those around the hotel raises safety concerns!!!
